Why the Summit?

The Nonprofit Summit was born out of a desire to provide the Frederick County nonprofit sector with quality, affordable educational opportunities.

Leaders from the Ausherman Family Foundation, Community Foundation of Frederick County, MD, United Way of Frederick County, MD, PNC Foundation, Helen J. Serini Foundation, and Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations form the Nonprofit Summit committee. Annually this group arranges for high quality, topical presenters to add to the local knowledge base by presenting high-energy, quality workshops to board members, organizational leaders, staff, and volunteers.

Who does and should attend?

The audience composition consists of board members, nonprofit leaders, staff members, volunteers, potential new board members, up-and-coming nonprofit leaders, and community members interested in learning more about the nonprofit sector.

Cancellations:

Full refunds will be given through March 1, 2018. No refunds will be given after March 1, 2018.  All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@aushermanfamilyfoundation.org. Refunds will be issued after March 25, 2018.

Attire:

Attire for the Nonprofit Summit is business casual. Meeting room temperatures vary, so you may want to plan accordingly.

Photo Release:

The Nonprofit Summit committee will, from time to time, use photographs or videos of program participants in its promotional materials. All program participants acknowledge that they may be photographed or videotaped by Nonprofit Summit Committee members or their official photographer while at the Summit and that these images may be used in future print and electronic promotional materials.

Please note that to encourage frank and meaningful discussion, the Summit is designed as a safe space for candid conversations. As such no sessions will be audio or video taped. If you do not wish your likeness to be used in this way, please email adminasst@aushermanfamilyfoundation.org or call 301.620.4468 within 48 hours of conclusion of the Summit.  You will need to provide Ausherman Family Foundation with a photo so that we can identify you in any of the photos taken at the Summit.

Program Participant List:

For networking purposes, the Nonprofit Summit will distribute a participants list that provides the following contact information for each individual attending the program: first name, last name, organization name, city, state, zip, and e-mail address. If you do not wish to have your contact information included on the list distributed to participants, please indicate that when completing the registration form. If you do not wish to have your contact information included on the list distributed to the vendors attending the Summit, please email info@aushermanfamilyfoundation.org and include that information.
