2023 Nonprofit Summit Retreat: Self-Care & Sustainability

The Frederick Nonprofit Summit Committee will again be offering local organizations an opportunity to connect, learn, and heal at ThorpeWood Lodge in Thurmont, Maryland. The 2023 Nonprofit Summit Fall Retreat will feature collaborative discussions on the following topics:

  • Life/Work Balance
  • Succession Planning
  • DEI and its Incorporation in the Workplace
  • Transitions
  • Mentoring
  • Team Motivation

Come share your knowledge and learn from others in the nonprofit realm, followed by restorative group activities in the afternoon!

The Afternoon

The 2023 Nonprofit Summit Retreat: Self-Care & Sustainability will feature local nonprofits and community organizations leading restorative activities in the afternoon. These activities are meant to help engage participants in activities that revitalize and rejuvenate their energy. Register for the event and select which activities would be most restorative for you. Perhaps being in nature or yoga will be what brings you the most peace! Return to your office with renewed energy and share some of these practices with your team members.

2023 Frederick Nonprofit Summit Retreat Location

ThorpeWood Lodge is a 156 acre mountain property, nestled 1500 feet high in the Catoctin Mountains near Thurmont, Maryland. Out beautiful setting of forests, fields, spring-fed ponds, and native trout streams provides a safe place for our community to heal and grow.
